Providing innovative automotive services in Wellington for over 30 years
Vogel Motors opened in 1982 in Vogel Street, Naenae (hence the name) with a workshop behind the Caltex service station.
In 1988 Vogel Motors purchased what is now Mascar Motors in Upper Hutt and ran both service station and workshop until 1992. The Naenae workshop was sold in 1990 and we continued to run the Upper Hutt branch until 1992. Vogel Motors relocated to 27 Rutherford Street right in the heart of Lower Hutt. We continued to grow and fine tune the business for 11 more years, eventually moving into larger premises in 2003.
In early 2005 there were some major changes for Vogel Motors in the way of the departure of founder and owner Martin Crooks. Vogel Motors was then purchased by Benn Milne and wife Julie. In July 2007 Vogel Motors Petone was opened, shortly after it was amalgamated in to Vogel Motors Hutt City which is what we see today with premises in Alicetown Lower Hutt.
The business was then sold to Steve and Sonia Parker in 2017. Steve, coming from a long and established career working at REPCO and providing customer services to the previous owner Benn, has been able to hit the ground running. With the support of a team of highly skilled and trained technicians Vogel Motor Services are moving from strength to strength.
